- Accounting Specialist position in an international trading company

Job description

- Performs monthly, quarterly and yearly closing operations

- Prepares monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for internal and external purposes

- Prepares quarterly and annual data for IFRS statements

- Controlling of companies financial activities

- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards

- Prepare and review basic legal contracts

- Implements accounting and reporting standards corresponding to the Group requirements

- Preparation of financial and operational monthly reports (P&Ls, Sales reports)

- Monitor acceptance of costs, verifies prepared payments

- Controls the tax payment in relation with our accounting company

- Preparation of a monthly table to control the expenses

- Follows up sales operations and controls entries of all invoices created with each sale activity

- Control of all customer and vendor transactions

- Follow up of timely payment of receivables and payables

- Know how to use "e-fatura", "e-defter", "e-mutabakat" in MS Navision

Required Skills

- University degree in related areas

- Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Finance

- Profound knowledge of all functional areas of accounting and finance, especially TUCA, Turkish GAAP and tax regulations

- Know all functional areas of finance, including financial risk management and accounting

- Know how to prepare and analyze financial reports and projections

- Good knowledge of Outlook Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Turkish

- Team player, achievement oriented

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Completed Military Service (for male candidates)

Specific Professional Competencies (Assets)

- MicroSoft Navision Dynamics ERP Accounting knowledge

- Experience in implementation of new accounting systems.
