Reporting to the Regional Human Resources Manager, the incumbent will assist in the delivery of local HR strategies within the Turkey retail business to deliver a premium HR operation. Carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: HR process development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development and employment. The main responsibilities of the position can be summarized as follows:
• Administer the human resources policies, procedures and programs.
• Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation and guide employees in the use of general HR processes, policies and procedures.
• Support HR Manager to ensure proper induction / communication / coordination, tracking and monitoring of the Performance Management and Development process.
• Global / Divisional HR Initiatives are customized / adapted and implemented according to the agreed timeline.
• Prepare job postings and carry out initial screening and selection of candidates to fill vacant positions.
• Do the reference checks if necessary.
• Prepare new employee welcome orientation schedule.
• Prepare and maintain company headcount and salary structure. Complete salary survey questionnaires.
• Deliver a first class HR service to retail store employees including resourcing, development, performance management and employment issues.
• Partner with Store General Managers and Store Management Team to ensure effective recruitment and selection of high calibre Store Staff.
• In partnership with Learning & Development Manager, update and deliver the Induction Plan for Store Staff.
• Partner with Store General Managers to facilitate effective training, development and performance review programmes to ensure Store Staff teams consistently deliver premium levels of customer service.
• In partnership with HRM diagnose capability gaps, build succession plans and develop training initiatives accordingly.
• Implement all Retail HQ in store training initiatives as required.
• Manage the delivery of all retail HR issues in line with local legislation and company brand values. Facilitate the development of a best practitioner network and the delivery of any disciplinary action. Ensure consistency of approach.
• Ensure store based HR administration is undertaken in an accurate and timely manner in line with legislative requirements.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources role with a multinational company in retail industry.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development and employment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with preferably an MBA in Human Resources Management
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
